NONLINEAR THEATRE

nonlinear theater is a product of the era of digital culture. Our last attempt to erase death, which we are performing on the edge of an abyss into which the Anthropocene can fall at any moment. Nonlinear dramaturgy for now is only a finding of procedures already applied in performance practice. Our goal is to establish a register of dramaturgical procedures by which we can include nonlinear reality in physical reality. We negotiate the survival of the humane in the post humane realm. DESAPARECIDO   #bitchainperformance

The disappearances of LK, a digital art performance by KadelaGroup, started in 2000, continues to this day, and survives with the dramaturgy of the bitchain performance. The LK Disappearance project is constituted by a dramaturgy of trust, as a digital chain of related information.

At the same time, the project develops as an artistic performance in the physical and digital interface, and then uses performance patterns and traditional dramaturgies such as dramaturgy of dramatic text, live performance dramaturgy, dramaturgy of effects, etc. Dixon writes about the transformation of the subject into an object. for example, by photography, it reproduces a moment that can never be returned (Dixon 2007: 119). Quantification of a moment that can never be returned is a procedure by which the time component is transformed into a spatial one. The beginning of this digital artistic performance, The Disappearance of LK, was the disappearance of the subject in the circumstances of physical reality. This disappearance triggered the dramaturgy of absence as a process in the creation of a digital artistic performance that produces the performance of a temporary and unstable object or medium representing the absent subject. Castells calls it "denial of death" and writes that erasing death is in fact the predominant expression of a technological society that separates death from life and creates a technological system that makes such a belief lasting, "we build eternity during life" (Castells 2000: 479).
